Dark roots, blonde hair? Why not! Dark roots used to be a blonde’s worst nightmare, but in recent years a dark, smudgy root has become a blonde haircolor trend.

What is Root Shadowing?

Root shadowing is a low maintenance hair color technique in which a darker shade is applied directly to the roots giving a soft, seamless contrast.

Babylights-I always use Blonde me /Schwarzkopf/20 volume +pH-Bonder Redken  using white strips.

Once your hair is highlighted, and the color is washed out.

A gloss or toner is applied — with a brush — just to the roots.

I always use a demi liquid. NEVER use a permanent cream color. Permanent color is just like a permanent marker. It’s so dense and it’s on the hair forever.I am always using REDKEN SHADES EQ.

Shades Eq are so transparent that it never creates a harsh line .

Is Shadowing roots easy to mantain?

Yes …

The looks is super low maintenance since your natural haircolor grows in nicely and without any harsh lines.

My Clients are requesting shadow roots more now than ever.
